Our institute kindly welcomes Petra Lőrinczi, who is hosted by members of the institute during her stay in the winter semester within the CEEPUS mobility program. She is currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of History and Ethnology at the University of Debrecen (Institute of History), being now in her second year of PhD studies at Debrecen. Her field of research is Protestant charismatic movements in South Korea and Hungary throughout the 20th century. She studied East Asian history, culture and religion related courses in her Bsc and Msc studies and obtained the Msc degree in Religious Studies at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Budapest with distinction in 2019. Furthermore, she has also studied as an exchange student at the Hanshin Theological University in Seoul back in 2018. In 2019 she won the first prize at the National University Student Competition in the category of Religious Studies. We hope that she will profit from her stay here in Graz!
