Theresia Heimerl
Associate Professor
Theresia Heimerl is associate professor of religious studies since 2003. She studied German and Classical Philology (Mag. phil. 1995, Dr. phil. 1998) and Catholic Theology (Mag. theol. 1999, Dr. theol. 2001) in Graz and Würzburg. In 2003, she completed her habilitation in religious studies at the University of Graz.
Research topics
Her research focuses on European religious history (late antiquity/the Middle Ages), representations of religion in film and TV, and the relationships between body, gender and religion.
